Existing cryptocurrency kiosks must be removed within 90 days of the law's effective date, and violations are treated as unlawful practices subject to civil penalties up to $10,000, injunctive relief, and private lawsuits for damages. The bill also requires that fees collected from prohibited transactions be refunded to customers within 30 days or deposited into a consumer protection fund.
